The 2027 Appledore Calenders are now on sale at Appledore Quay Gift Shop, Appledore Bakery, No 20, John's Supermarket, Market Street Kitchen. Price as last year - £8.50. The calendar is made up from the winning photographs from the Appledore Amateur Photographic Competition and all proceeds go to projects which will enhance Appledore for Locals and Visitors alike.

This is a limited edition print run, and when sold out, there will be no more, so buy now. Great for both home use and Christmas Presents.

I shall be a bit late opening this morning as I’m going to watch my pal Walter’s talk about his book on growing up in Appledore.
He’s chatting with Ian ‘Lammy’ Lamb and it should be lots of fun - there are some tickets left so do come along!
It’s in the Baptist Church 11am til 12.15pm.

And that’s a wrap on another brilliant Appledore Book Festival Family Fun Day. These empty boxes show that a whopping 236 kids from Appledore, Northam, WWH!, Bideford and a few from further afield came in store as part of the activity trail to claim their free LEGAMI erasable pen.
I hope everyone had a great time. 😊

It’s the Appledore Book Festival Family Fun Day this Saturday and I’ve just taken delivery of the prize that the kids will receive for coming to my shop to get their trail sheet stamped and it’s a good ‘un which is going to make a lot of little folks very happy. 🥳
Drum roll please….. they will get one of two brand new Legami erasable pens - either the Gorilla or the Hen.
Here they are waiting to go to their new homes on Saturday. I hope I have enough for everyone but please don’t leave it too late in the day or they may have to choose a different pen.
Registration for the trail is from 10.30 in Churchfields Carpark. It’s always an absolutely brilliant day of free fun for kids of all ages, whatever the weather, so please do come down to the village and get involved.
See you Saturday! And if you don’t know why this needed a drum roll, well I just don’t know what to do with you 🫤
