It's about time Amy made it onto the grid! ✨
Amy came to me for alterations on her gorgeous Halfpenny London wedding dress, and what a transformation it was.
I downsized the skirt around 10 inches, taking in through the side seams and centre back. The bodice also needed significant alterations to achieve the perfect fit, and we completely restyled the back, replacing the tie fastening with a button closure to provide more support, structure and security. There may also have been some rather ingenious bust taping involved to achieve exactly the right level of support.
As if that wasn't enough, Amy also commissioned me to create the most incredible bespoke cape. Sparkling, dramatic and completely worthy of its own moment in the spotlight.
Receiving these photographs brought the biggest smile to my face. After months of fittings, pinning, problem-solving and perfecting every detail, seeing it all come together so beautifully is always such a special moment.
