A very special memory bunny!

Made using a Squirrels and a Beavers uniform, neckerchiefs and badges, with every little detail carefully added to make this bunny completely unique.

The badges were carefully removed from the original uniforms and repositioned onto the bunny, keeping them on matching pieces of the original coloured fabric, preserving those special details and memories.

A wonderful way to preserve those special memories for years to come.

A beautiful set of four memory bears

These four bears were made from the special clothing of a much loved and deeply missed Mum and Nan.

The same clothing was used across all four bears, but each one has been designed and pieced together differently, giving them their own unique look while keeping those precious memories together.

I loved creating these and seeing how the different florals, paisleys, polka dots and shades of blue came together in each design.

A very special school leaver’s bear ❤️

This one was a little different, as my customer came to me with an AI-generated image of exactly how they wanted the finished bear to look.

I absolutely love bringing your ideas to life, and I was so pleased with how this one came together complete with the school uniform, tie, bow and personalised embroidered foot pads for Skylar and Class of 2026.

What a busy month it’s been here at Forget-me-nots! So many lovely bears, cushions, bunnies and keepsakes have been made, each with their own special story.

This is the first of four bears.

This beautiful memory bear was made from much-loved Mum and Nan’s favourite clothing, giving those precious memories a new way to be treasured and cuddled for years to come. ❤️

Some keepsakes are simply priceless, and this has been one of the most meaningful projects I've had the privilege to create.

This beautiful memory bear and patchwork cushion were lovingly made from a wedding dress that is over 60 years old. The dress itself is extraordinary, having been handmade by the groom for his bride before their wedding day. Just look at the original photograph of her wearing it – what an incredible piece of family history to preserve.

The delicate fur around the cape and m**f is believed to be ermine, so every stitch had to be handled with the greatest care. Amazingly, there were still a few tiny pieces of the original wedding confetti caught in the fur after all these years, a beautiful little reminder of such a special day.

To preserve as much of the original dress as possible, I also reused the original lining and the original zip from the back of the dress in the patchwork cushion.

Every memory bear tells a story, but this one tells a love story spanning more than six decades. It has been an absolute honour to give this treasured wedding dress a new life while preserving the memories it holds.
