It’s been an emotional few days, we closed the doors of our business for the last time yesterday after 19 years. 🥺
This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but the roller coaster of life and last years health issues has made made me realise that I need to focus on myself and my family.
To me you were not just customers, you were and are my friends and we shared the ups and downs of our lives. I have some amazing memories filled with every emotion. I’ve seen yours and my babies grow into young adults, and I will treasure each and every memory. A true community spirit, which sadly we see less and less with each passing year.
I am going to miss the challenges (and believe me there were some!) of advising and finding the right fabrics for your projects and sharing in the events in your lives.
There are too many funny stories to recount but I’ll leave you with one; My husband standing in for me over the years and not once but twice coming home in a grumpy mood because a couple of you had enquired of him “is your daughter not in today?” And he’s younger than me!!!
We would like to thank all our customers for their custom and support over the years. I sincerely wish you all the sewing happiness in the world…and who knows you might see me again….
