A regular request that I’m finally getting round to… 🇬🇧

A wide 10mm Union Jack ring ❤️💙

This is a computer-generated concept image, so the finished design will look a little different. When it goes for professional CAD design, I’ll be asking for the diagonals to be accurately asymmetrically offset, just like the real Union Jack.

Because if we’re doing it, we’re doing it properly - fully British, not just Union Jack-ish 😂🇬🇧

The red and blue sections will be set by hand, with polished silver forming the white elements of the flag.

Available with or without inclusions - ashes, hair or fur can be incorporated, or simply choose the red and blue if you love the design.

Wind and rain have already had a good go at the hair this morning 😂🙈 and to top it off, my Brownings pineapple cake got squashed on the way here 😭😂

All settled in now though, with a busy bench full of your beautiful pieces to work on.

Love our new little tins for your inclusions 🤍

We only need a very small amount of ashes, hair or fur for most pieces, so anything remaining will be safely returned to you in one of these keepsake tins once your jewellery is complete.

They can also be personalised to suit - or, if we’re already working with treasured handwriting, a fingerprint or paw print for your piece, we can engrave that onto the tin too.

A lovely little keepsake and a safe place for what remains. 🤍

Every Clan Davidson design begins with an idea, a pencil and a story waiting to be held.

This original thistle sketch became one of our Signature pieces - and now that same creative process is beginning an exciting new chapter.

We’re creating a completely new collection, designed especially for precision casting in 316 stainless steel and set with genuine moissanite.

Rather than reproducing every existing Signature design, this will be its own carefully considered collection of brand-new, original pieces - released in small drops.

Chosen for its strength, durability and lasting polished appearance, 316 stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnishing and corrosion. Paired with the exceptional brilliance and fire of moissanite, it offers a beautiful contemporary option designed for everyday wear.

Each piece will remain unmistakably Clan Davidson - originally designed by us, cast especially for us and personally finished with your ashes, hair, fur or other meaningful inclusions in our Auchinleck studio.

Our sterling silver, gold and platinum collections aren’t going anywhere; this is simply the beginning of a new addition with its own designs and character.

My beautiful friend and namesake, Julie Davidson. She’s been JD since birth… I only stole her name when I got married 😅🤍

Julie recently lost her dad. During a 4am chat, she shared this lovely photograph of them together, and I knew straight away that it had to be engraved.

On the reverse, I engraved her dad’s signature alongside part of the beautiful poem Julie wrote and read at his funeral.

A little reminder to check in with the people you love - even the bubbly ones who always seem okay. Sometimes they’re the least likely to admit that they need a little extra support. ###
