Dressing for hot weather...

I'm not your floaty dress wearing linen donning kind of a gal, which is a shame as they would be so easy at this time of year! They really don't suit me and I can look 'lost'. I can however still keep it neat and add a little bit of edge, which is what I need. Whatever your style you can make it work at whatever time of year.

A few thoughts on hot weather dressing:

Your best colours - add a wow colour in natural fabric.

Keep accessories going - they can add the interest and the style to your look. Sunglasses a must ()

Make up - keep it light but add in your best lipstick - my lipstick is is Brick,a great warm red for me. (Frankly sunglasses and a lipstick is always a winner in hot weather)

Hat - in a good shape and colour for you. Variations of the panama suit most people. Essential in warm weather. Mine is actually from the men's department!

Do you have fun choosing glasses? Well you need a day like this with . Margaret Harris and I joined forces to have a glasses styling day with clients. So many good choices, everyone has a range they can wear that re interesting and different. these are not your average opticians choices.

As a glasses wearer for as long as can remember there is nothing that comes close to this.

Nervous of bright colour? Would ypu wear bright lime if you didn't know whether it suited you? Probably not?

When you know your brights you can confidently choose them knowing they work. Or you can choose neutrals, you're in charge.
