Girls we are stronger than we think we are. And believe me when I tell you if I can do it you can too.

Never had a love for PE at school
Gained and lost numerous stones over the years
Love my food way too much, and I mean, what’s a coffee without a biscuit? (Punishment incase you’re wondering 😜)
I’ve been consistent with my strength training for a few years now, and with my running for about the same. But it hasn’t been without set backs and injuries.

Am I the fastest, strongest or fittest I could be? Absolutely not. Is it sometimes discipline over delight? YES! Do i enjoy it every time. No- and i challenge you to find anyone who says they do!
But i try to keep showing up.

Yesterday was a really hard day - not because of the race but because my heart was heavy and sore for myself and friends. It wasn’t the day in the month you’d choose to challenge yourself as a woman (TMI) and it was a big ask for my family to all leave for Belfast at 7am on a random Tuesday.
But we got it done.

1 hour and 12 minutes. And we did it. 10km. And I am so proud.
What’s next?
