Over the past few weeks ive been working on a really special project for a friend, making personalised wedding bears for her wedding to keep her flower girls busy during the long wedding day but also as a special memory bear for them to keep afterwards. I always match the bears outfits to the wedding colours. I will post pictures of the bears I've just made after the wedding but here is an example I previously did for a wedding.

I learnt a long time ago that sadly not everyone appreciates or wants handmade gifts. Handmade gifts are not only sharing your skills & creativity but also your time & love so I choose to make & give them anyway but carefully.

At sustainable crafts everything is either made from recycled fabrics, reusable or flexible to have multiple purposes. In sustainable fashion this week I've been making reusable make up wipes with a personalised wash bag to wash them in.

I've used a gratitute blessing journal a lot over the past 10 years while dealing with extensive grief. Counting & acknowledging even small blessings each day is a great way to remind ourselves what blessings we have & helps make even glimmers of joy reappear. On hard days I looked for small things like milk in the fridge for a cuppa tea, sun or sunsets & gradually you see more & more beauty & blessings all around us again everyday.

In memory of remembrance day- armistice day 11-11-18 yesterday, I made a new poppy themed door wreath. I like to change my door wreath seasonally so I have a made a real collection of themes over the years.
