The other half of the sister duo that started up La Boda, Susan was working in the bank after her finance degree from Queens when La Boda was born. Really can’t imagine her now in a navy banking suit. Where would she get to wear all her Zara hauls!?

As you can see from our socials she loves jumping into our dresses the odd time to show you what they’re like….. and we think she’s really good at it too… we call her our in store model! 🤍

For any of you that have dealt with Susan, you’ll know that she’s got a real passion for fashion and that translates perfectly in all her bridal consultations.

Outside of the shop she’s mum to 2 gorgeous kids, Teddy and Charlotte and stepmom to Ethan. She got married to her husband Gareth 17 years ago in a stunning venue on the outskirts of Barcelona. Not surprisingly 1 dress wasn’t enough. For the party she changed out of her gorgeous lace Pronovias dress into a short, puffball dress by Ian Stuart.

Long walks, large wines and chilling at home takes up the rest of her time nicely ☺️

Co-founder of La Boda Bridal along with sister Susan. Emma studied management and Spanish at Queens university and brings all her business acumen to the table when it comes to La Boda, taking on all the more serious job roles within the business. Her love of the Spanish language was the main driver when choosing our shop name.

Emma, senior boss as we like to call her, enjoys working out, coffee, a glass of wine and playing golf in her spare time.

Married to Aaron for 21 years with 2 amazing children , Harry and Anna. Emma still loves the Pronovias dress she chose to wear on her wedding day The Mill At Ballydugan

If you have had the pleasure of Emma being your stylist in the boutique, you will know that she is very calming, thoughtful and knowledgeable on all things bridal. You won’t see her on our socials too often as she’s the camera shy one!

Hello to all our followers old and new!
As we celebrate 22 years in business we wanted to introduce ourselves, the faces behind La Boda Bridal.

The La Boda team is made up of sisters Emma (to the left) and Susan (to the right) who co-own La Boda along with Carmen (middle) who manages the boutique. Over the next few days we will introduce ourselves separately but today we wanted to give you a bit of background on La Boda.

Emma and Susan opened the doors to the boutique back in July 2004. Starting off with just one room and 15 dresses on the rail. Fast forward 22 years and we now occupy the whole top floor of the building with 2 bridal rooms, a cosy reception area and a great work room. We currently stock fabulous designers such as Atelier Pronovias, Pronovias, Alyssa Kristin, Luce Sposa and White & Lace by Milla Nova. We also have a new exclusive designer on the way which we can’t wait for you to see!!

Carmen joined our team in 2010 and is now firmly part of the furniture. Over the years we have seen the most stunning brides bring their bridal vision to life and nothing makes us happier. Thanks to all our La Boda brides for trusting in us and allowing us to be part of your bridal journey!
