I am Samantha (Sam for short), I am a Bridalwear and occasion wear Seamstress that also handmakes beautiful and unique bridal accessories, all designed and made bespoke for your wedding day. Beautiful Unique was born out of my wish to create beautiful and unique bridal accessories which you cannot find on the high street. This runs alongside a thriving business doing bridal alterations which I enj

oy very much. I have been very privileged to work with some lovely people over time and to alter and make some stunning dresses. There is nothing better than meeting a bridal party, often quite stressed, and being able to calm nerves and promise on the day their dresses will look stunning and fit perfectly. My satisfaction comes from seeing a happy bridal party and knowing I helped them.

Here is an idea of just how much material comes of an hemline alteration, it can be multiple metres! ✂

This dress needed several inches taking off the bottom. So each layer is carefully measured then finished off so it looks like nothing at all ha been done. 🪡

This is our absolute stunning bride Maz! We think you’ll agree she looks absolutely amazing! 😍

Alterations to Maz’s beautiful dress included shortening the hemlines and shoulder straps, taking in the bodice and skirt, and adding an American bustle. We also altered her lovely bridesmaid Caroline’s dress too.🪡

Until this crazy heatwave, we had been able to manage the temperature of our fitting area and workroom pretty well! But we weren’t going to let the 30c+ temperatures beat us! 🥵

This beautiful dress had lots of beading which needed to be delicately removed for the alteration to be done.🪡

Once the alteration was complete, the beads all needed to be hand stitched back on in to the design they were originally in. This is an incredibly intensive job, but so satisfying once it’s all complete and the dress doesn’t look like it’s been touched!😊

Our 2027 diary is open and already starting to fill up.

If you are getting married in early 2027 then now is the time to contact us to book your slot. Spring weddings get booked very early and we only have limited spaces.

We are still offering our free no obligation dress consultations. This is where we can see your dress and give you an accurate quote, which allows you to manage your budget with no nasty surprises.

If you already have your dress, or know the date you are getting it, then give us a call or message to book in. It's never too early, and don’t worry if you are on a weight loss journey, just let us know and that can all be take in to account at the appointment.
