Definitely worth a visit if you e never been 😁 and the kirkyard too for fascinating folk.

The existence of a church at Cullen was first recorded in 1236, and again in 1275.
Visit the Auld Kirk and find out all about its fascinating history and about Queen Elizabeth de Burgh, second wife of Robert the Bruce, whose ‘interiores partes’ were buried in the church.
Cullen Auld Kirk is open for visitors with Guides on hand to tell you the history of this 13th century church on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 2pm and 4pm in July and August 2026.
