🤩 Gorgeous original 19th century fashion plate, advertising three outfits for two young ladies and a girl.
The theme is ‘stylish winter warmth’ eg the outfit on the right has what looks like a fur edged cape and there is a gorgeous black and red coat dress with smart white buttons for the child. I think the stunning white and mauve dress adorned with pink flowers on the left, is a ball gown. Isn’t it gorgeous!
Taken from the “The Englishwoman’s Domestic Magazine”, published c1860s but very much created in Paris, France, as they led the fashion world at this time.
It’s signed by Jules David and Bonnard, hand-tinted and in excellent condition 😀 There is a crease to the left but barely noticeable once framed.
Dim 19cm wide x 24cm high.
£25.00. *
* A gold frame is available for £10 if wanted and can show photos.
