I have been making some samples up ready for the in London and Harrogate. So pleased to be offering overlocker workshops in Harrogate, using machines from , I can’t wait to use a machine that auto threads 🤩😂I will be doing ruffle shorts and lettuce hem leggings, and of course I had to get the leopard print involved! 100% OEKO-TEX certified cotton jersey 🌎

Added extra large pockets in the shorts for myself 😍

Can also be made on request if anyone fancies a pair 💖

In this workshop you will make a pair of shorts in time for summer, with 2 small pockets either side. This is a great learning experience for those who haven’t sewn with stretch before. The fabric is 100% OEKO-TEX cotton stretch jersey.

I will contact everyone just before the class to confirm what size everyone wants to make and ensure the workshop is size inclusive so everyone goes home with something they actually want to wear!

Still at the introductory offer of £15!! 🤩 this will be increasing next month!

Had a lovely few weeks running sewing classes in Trowbridge for the Together community project 🫶

We had 5 adults and 2 children attending and made peg bags, bows, scrunchies and hijabs for our Muslim ladies 🧕🎀

Really proud of what everyone made, especially those who had never sewn before. Was lovely to see a mix of cultures coming together and working as a group to create wearable and useable items ✨ 

This group will now take these skills out to their own communities to share their newfound sewing knowledge 🪡🧵

Next weeks session will be on Tuesday 5th due to the Bank Holiday. 1-3pm at
Price increase due to added zips and interfacing.

3 spaces have already sold, 3 spaces remaining. If there is lots of interest I can look at offering a second workshop too.

Had a full class for the workshop today, I was so busy chatting and teaching I forget to get any in action shots 🙈

I've been experimenting with making necklaces using quilling, jewellery making and textiles since attending the knit and stitch show workshop, and I'm obsessed. Thinking of setting up a workshop in Cardiff and Caerphilly for this (venue already booked for Caerphilly in June). Interested? Please let me know!!💖🤩

It’s been a busy week! Proposal submitted to to offer our workshops at their fantastic sewing festivals in Harrogate and possibly London if space were to become available ⭐️

I visited the show in London a few weeks ago, I shopped till I dropped and got to learn some new techniques at the workshops. I did some denim quilling (will post some pics next) and arm knitting techniques - I can’t give you any photos of that because it’s fair to say I’m no professional knitter 🤣 the wool is back in its original ball ready for my mam to take over 🤣 back to finger knitting for me 😅🧶

It’s great to learn new things, you don’t have to be great at everything first time, and sometimes having a go can make you really appreciate the craft and the expertise. 💖
