What a challenging, interesting and fun week we have had on the pattern cutting course.

Learners left with a good understanding of how patterns are made and they completed their own blocks to go on to make their own designs.

*12wk Beginners Sewing Class* starting in September.
- No experience necessary but is also great for improvers.
- In the first 6wks we complete a small sewing project each week, where you learn the fundamentals of sewing. Then we make a garment from start to finish.
- The sessions are 4hrs with a lunch break.
- Taught by experienced fashion designer and qualified teacher Kelly Ewing.

Ever wanted to actually understand how clothes are made to fit you perfectly — not just follow patterns, but create your own?

This is a 6-day Pattern Drafting Course 3rd - 8th August (3hrs per day), where we’ll be making your own set of blocks (these are templates you can use to design and create your own patterns). It’s a great step if you want to move beyond using commercial patterns and start building garments that truly fit you.

Yesterday we had a class trip to my hometown Leeds, we visited the amazing B&M Fabrics and Kirkgate Market, all prepared for our next project, making a coat! ❤️
