It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to happen overnight.
It just has to keep moving forward.

Because little by little…

Dreaming about the life you want is the easy bit.

I can dream BIG. 😆
The business.
The freedom.
The adventures.
The future.
The ridiculously long list of things I want to achieve. 😂👑

But somewhere along the way, the dream has to become a plan.

And eventually that plan needs you to stop staring at it and actually bloody DO something with it. 🤣💪

That's what building Sassy Co. has taught me.

You don't need to know exactly how you're going to get there before you begin.

You just need to know why you're going. ❤️

Then you make the plan. 📝
Take the first step. 👣
Learn as you go. 💡
Change direction when you need to. 🔄
Keep showing up. 👑
And slowly, that thing that once existed only in your head starts becoming real.

My plans are bigger than simply building a business.

I want freedom.
I want adventures. ✈️
I want to help the people I love. ❤️
I want to create something that lasts.
And most importantly...

Some days you absolutely smash it.

You tick everything off the list. ✅
Ideas are flowing.
You're motivated.
You're focused.
And you finish the day feeling like you could take over the bloody world. 😆👑

And then there are the other days… 😂

You manage one thing.
Something goes wrong.
The job you thought would take twenty minutes takes three hours. 🙄
You change your mind seventeen times.
And that lovely neat to-do list somehow ends the day longer than when you started. 🤦‍♀️🤣

But here's something I'm learning while building Sassy Co…

Both days count.

Progress doesn't have to be dramatic to matter.

One product finished.
One page improved.
One idea written down.
One problem solved.
One tiny step forward.

It ALL moves you closer. 💪✨

I've spent far too much time thinking I should be further ahead, doing more, moving faster…

When actually, sometimes you need to look back and realise just how much you've already bloody done. 🥹🖤

So if today wasn't your most productive day?

That's okay.

Show up again tomorrow.

Because little by little, day by day, what's meant for you will find you. ❤️

We all love the big goals, don't we?

The dream house. 🏡
The holidays. ✈️
Financial freedom. 💷
The successful business. 👑
The life where you finally think, “Yep… THIS is what I was working towards.” 🥰

But none of those things are built in one huge, dramatic moment.

They're built in the boring little choices nobody claps for. 👏😆

Getting up and doing the work when you can't be arsed. 😂
Finishing that one job you've been avoiding.
Saving instead of spending.
Learning something new.
Choosing consistency over another fresh idea… (still working on that one 👀🤣).
Doing today what your future self will thank you for tomorrow.

That's the bit we sometimes forget.

Your habits are building something.
Your routine is building something.
Your discipline is building something.

And every seemingly insignificant decision is another little brick in the life you're creating. 🧱✨

You don't have to change everything overnight.

Just make one good choice today.

There comes a point when you realise you don't actually need anyone else's permission to build the life you want.

You don't need permission to dream bigger.
To change direction.
To want more for yourself.
To protect your time.
To chase the slightly ridiculous idea that won't leave your head. 😆
Or to become someone completely different from the person you used to be.

You just have to choose you. ❤️

Not in a selfish way.

In a “this is my one bloody life and I'd quite like to actually LIVE it” kind of way. 😂👑

Choose your growth. 🌱
Choose your confidence. ✨
Choose consistency when motivation disappears. 💪

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop doing.

Not quit.
Not give up.
Not abandon the plan.

Just stop long enough to ask yourself…

What am I actually trying to build? 🤔

Because being busy and making progress aren't always the same thing — and bloody hell, have I learned THAT one. 😆😂

I can have 47 tabs open, three notebooks on the go, Canva screaming at me, a list longer than my arm and another “brilliant idea” appearing every five minutes… 👀🤣

But sometimes I need to clear the noise and remember the why.

👑 Know what you want.
🖤 Set your intention.
⚡ Focus your energy.
✍️ Make the plan.
🔥 THEN take action.

You don't have to do everything today.

You just need to make sure the things you're doing are taking you somewhere you actually want to go.

And once the direction is clear?

No comparison.
No unnecessary noise.
No wasting energy running in circles.

Just one purposeful step after another.

The more I build Sassy Co., the more I realise that moving forward doesn't mean leaving everything behind.

Sometimes, the strongest foundations come from looking back.

Back at where you came from.
The people who came before you.
The values that survived generations.
The strength woven into your story long before you even knew it was there. 🖤

My Douglas heritage has become part of the Sassy Co. story — not because I want to live in the past, but because I love what it represents.

Strength. Loyalty. Resilience. Determination. Purpose. 👑

At some point, it stopped being just about building a business.

It became about building a future.

There was no shortcut, magic formula or perfect moment.

Just an idea, a laptop, a ridiculous number of lists 😂, plenty of late nights and the determination to keep building something that is completely mine.

There’s a part of building something for yourself that doesn’t always make it onto social media…

The repetitive bit. 😆
The late nights.
The lists that somehow create MORE lists. 😂
The tweaking, changing, learning, redoing and wondering whether you’ll ever actually reach the bottom of the bloody thing.

But THAT is where things are built. 👑

Every time you show up when you could have stopped…
Every little job you finish…
Every mistake you learn from…
Every tiny bit of progress nobody else sees…

It counts. 💪🖤

Because confidence doesn’t magically appear one morning.

You build it by proving to yourself, over and over again, that you’ll keep going.

Big dreams are exciting.

But the bit nobody really talks about?
The hundreds of small, boring, everyday decisions it takes to actually get there. 😆

Showing up when you're tired.
Doing the work when nobody's watching.
Staying focused when distractions would be easier.
Trusting the plan when the results haven't caught up yet. ✨

I'm learning that success isn't one huge lucky break.

It's consistency. Discipline. Patience. Belief.
Over and over again. 💪

Some days you'll fly.
