Little repair on these Fracap boots from a while back 🥾

Managed to reuse the original lace D ring re riveted onto a small leather patch which was the hand stitched onto the boot.

The stingray collection

This card case are iWatch strap were made with stingray leather sometimes known as shagreen.
With a matching key ring to complete the set.

It’s not the easiest material to work with but they turned out great!

Recently completed Tool belt, made from Oro Russet leather from the SB Foot tannery.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The same leather used to make Red Wing boots.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The brief was to make a tool holder for a specific fixed blade utility knife, a 15cm/6 inch steel ruler, a pencil, tape measure and 30cm combination square.
Needing to be hardwearing and something that would age well the SB foot leather was a good option, boots are known to last a long time.

People often ask how logos are pressed into the leather.

There are a few different ways of making the plates for debossing leather but the most cost effective for small runs is to get these magnesium plates made by Centurion Graphics
