✨ Happy Throwback Thursday! ✨

Do you remember my little work in progress from a short while ago? 👀🧵

Well… yesterday was handover day! 🥰 And this lovely young lady was absolutely over the moon when she saw her finished superheroes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️💕

For the past 6–7 months, I’ve been working with her mum to turn her amazing imagination into something REAL.

It all started with her own superhero drawings ✏️💭➡️ then came a little help from my daughter, turning those drawings into digital embroidery designs… and then it was over to me and my trusty machine to work some Cotton & Tails magic! ✨🧵🐰

And just like that… her very own superheroes came to life! 🦸‍♀️💥

I completely forgot to photograph the blue and brown/white one 🤦‍♀️😂 — typical me! — but you can see from the stages what they looked like.

This has been such a lovely mother & daughter collaboration, and I’ve absolutely loved being part of bringing this young lady’s imagination to life. 🥰💕

From a little drawing on paper to a whole team of handmade superheroes… now THAT is my kind of sewing adventure! 🐰🦸‍♀️✨

I have three more to make when I get back from my holiday ☀️

Here’s a little sneaky peek 👀 at FOUR brand-new Tummy Buddies currently being brought to life in the Cotton & Tails sewing room! 🧸💕

They’re still under construction for now, but they’ll be ready for their big reveal in just a couple of days… 👀✨

And remember, Tummy Buddies are currently just £5 each and can be made in a colour of your choice! 🌈

Now it’s time for my favourite part of Tuesday… feet up, TV on and The Sewing Bee 🐝🧵✂️

Time to see what sewing disasters, genius ideas and “Ooooh, I could make that!” moments are in store tonight! 😂🙈

The sewing room is officially CLOSED for the evening… well, apart from the ideas that will no doubt start popping into my head! 🤣🐰

🌸 Who else is feeling the back-to-work Tuesday blues? And can you believe it’s already 1st September?! 🌸

I hope you all had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend! 💕 If you’re heading back to work today, I’m sending you a big cup of virtual coffee and plenty of sympathy! 😂☕️

Yesterday, I took a little break from Facebook and enjoyed a proper switch-off. Even this Cottontail needs to hop away from social media every now and then! 🐰📵

After lunch, we headed out for another 2-mile walk along the river. The rain clouds were gathering, so we kept a very close eye on the sky — and luckily, our timing couldn’t have been better! 🌦️

We made it home just 20 minutes before the heavens opened. Talk about escaping by the whiskers! 🌧️🐰💨😂

Later, I settled back into my happy place and started working on a new bear. 🐻🧵💕 I’m hoping to finish her before I head off on holiday later this week, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to introduce her properly very soon! 🧳✈️

Today is all about getting back into the office routine, but I’m hoping to sneak in a little Cottontail time and catch up with you all later. 🐰💕

🌸 Good morning and Happy Bank Holiday Monday! 🌸

Yesterday turned out to be quite a warm one ☀️ I managed to get out for a lovely 2-mile walk around the nature reserve 🌿 and even squeezed in a little bit of sewing 🧵✂️

I’ve got no real plans for today, so I’m just going to see where the day takes me. It all depends on what the weather decides to do! 🌦️

We even had a little thunderstorm ⛈️ last night!

It’s finally Friday, but it’s absolutely pouring down here! ☔️ I don’t think I’ll be venturing too far today, apart from heading out for my hair appointment later 💇‍♀️✂️

A huge thank you for all the lovely feedback on my sweatshirt embroidery 🧵❤️ I’m sorry I didn’t quite get around to replying to everyone, but I really do appreciate every single comment!

I’ve got no real plans for today, so I may just hide away in my sewing room and make a start on another batch of Christmas decorations 🎄✨

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone ☀️

Sorry I haven’t managed to get round to everyone over the last couple of days. I’ve been super busy at work, and I’m also trying to get ahead with my making and stock before I head off on holiday next weekend! 🧵🚘

I tried something a little different last night… 👀

My first ever attempt at embroidering onto a sweatshirt! 🪡❤️

I kept this old one especially for practising. It took me a while to get everything positioned correctly, but I’m really pleased with how it turned out! 🥰
