Join us for the annual Milestones Christmas market this weekend. The perfect opportunity to do your Christmas shopping – and find that something a little bit different!

As well as shopping you can have fun, enjoy the entertainment, grab a bite to eat and see some of the museum too!

It’s open Saturday a bit later than usual and Sunday so come 👀 us.

We may have a few bargains too with this being our last event of 2025.

Today and tomorrow we’ll be attending the ‘Basing House Christmas Fayre’ where there’ll be lots of stalls to browse for your gifts. Along with things to do and see.

What's on?

Over 35 stalls offering festive gifts, crafts, and treats
ECWS Reenactors (Saturday only): Learn about Christmas as a Tudor and see period costumes
Sealed Knot bring a small team to discuss all things Civil War with you! (Sunday only)
Two Bird Experience bring some feathered friends to meet you all in the cart shed (Saturday and Sunday)
Hot food by Berro Kitchen
Cafe with tea, coffee, mulled wine, soft drinks, cakes, and ice cream
Shop offering gifts, treats, and festive goodies
Gardening stall with greenery for wreath-making (ready-made wreaths also available)

So come and 👀 us and enjoy some Christmas 🎄 spirit.
