My full-time job is pretty full on. It’s dynamic, no two days are the same, and some days are filled with meetings from start to finish.

That means Handmade by Kunbi is often built around the edges of the day - in the evenings, on weekends, and in those little pockets of time in between. And yes, sometimes while I’m on annual leave from work too 😅

It might only be an hour here or there, but it’s amazing what can grow from small moments of consistent effort over time 💪🏽🙌🏽.

So apparently 2016 is the new 2026… and it’s had me thinking 🤔❤️.

2016 was the year Handmade by Kunbi was born. A year filled with knitting, crocheting, and making something every single day to make up for all the years prior where I had abandoned my beloved crafts. I even randomly picked up sewing!

So much has changed since then, but what I’m committed to keeping, always, is the joy in the making. The excitement, the curiousity, the care poured into every piece I create. Wherever Handmade by Kunbi is headed next, that joy is staying right at the centre.
