This weekend's Summer Craft Festival with North Down Craft Collective turned out to be 2 days of fun, creativity and friendship! Our very first 2 day festival exceeded our expectations and we want to thank everyone who chose to come and support our collective of makers.
Over the 2 days we welcomed over 1000 visitors, I chatted about button making, reminised about the Safe Hands Project and caught up with our friends from Women's Aid- North Down and Ards.
The Mayor visited, we shared our knowledge and skills with over 50 workshop attendees and I even had to es**rt the ducks off the premises!
What a great weekend!
Thanks to all my fellow makers, the fabulous staff at WWT Castle Espie and all our lovely visitors!

A little bird told me we'd be back doing it all again for Christmas!
