Just one of NM Williams' early brands, the Barry Disley range became a well known high street brand and was sold through a wide range of Menswear shops and retail outlets throughout the UK. Barry Disley during this time was popular choice for the discerning gentleman.

You will still see “vintage” Barry Disley shirts available on various internet sites.

We're on the lookout for a sewing operative to join our small close knit team at our Mallusk HQ on a flexible 16 hours per week contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping facilitate the smooth running of a busy sewing room.

Duties include:

👖 Alteration of garments such as hemming trousers, adding labels and altering garments to fulfil customers’ orders.

🪡 Safely and efficiently operate a variety of sewing machines (including overlock, lockstitch and button-sew machines) to perform a variety of sewing related tasks

🤝 Work closely with members of other departments to achieve deadlines

🧵 General housekeeping of sewing room

A time for change at Disley...

In a new era for our company, the inimitable Tony Hughes is stepping down from his role as Sales Director and moving into the position of Principal Sales Manager. Tony's support for Disley over the last 27 years has been instrumental in bringing the business to where it is today. For this reason, we are delighted that he will continue to support the business and our clients through commercial guidance and industry experience, while taking a step back from leading the sales & marketing function.

At the same time, we're delighted to confirm that Craig Moores, our current Sales Manager, has stepped into the role of Sales Director. Craig brings a wealth of experience, both within Disley and from previous roles in the workwear and corporate clothing sector. He has already proved to be a great asset to the business, providing strong leadership and commercial insight, and we wish him every success in his new role.
