A special mix by none other than DavidHolmes1969 - In between projects such as producing the new Dexy’s album and meeting up with Eric Cantona (a childhood hero of mine! -G), David kindly offered to record a live mix in the store.

This will be our last guest mix for a while as we have decided to concentrate on our own output. What a guest to end it on! Thanks so much David. Enjoy!

In the shop this evening (Thurs 6th August) we release 2 special tees with our neighbours High Society | Classic Barbershop

Come on down from 6pm and we will have beers from Out of Office Brewing and music from Chris Frieze

Garment dyed 7.5oz cotton mock neck tee in Off-Black with a loose boxy fit and beefier texture. Double hand-screened graphic on the front and back. 2 versions with alternating front/back graphic.

matthew_moregain and mathesonmusic are 2 serious selectors and have both provided separate mixes for us in the past but this time they come together under their Call & Response guise. A club night they having been running together in Belfast over the past year or so and this mixes helps showcase their musical taste and what you can expect on a C&R night. Thanks lads!

It’ll be interesting to see how busy our city will be over the next week with the exciting Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann on, looking forward to seeing a vibrant celebration throughout the city! Most roads will be closed to traffic in the centre but our section of North St, Gresham St and Winetavern St are still open to traffic for pick up/drop off only.

With that in mind we thought we’d give the shop a refresh. The beauty of Vitsœ is its timeless design and modular ability which allows us to easily change the shop layout. We moved our custom built cabinet which houses our turntables and xdj controller to a more central position which gives a better sound for anyone playing in the shop and it also frees up the back of the store with better access to the changing rooms.

Open as usual throughout the week and we have a party on Thursday night to celebrate the launch of a special collaboration with our cool-as neighbours Hannah & Jonny High Society | Classic Barbershop
