Like so many designers, Sandra’s passion for craft developed from a young age, when her mother taught her to sew. Innately artistic, with a keen eye for design, she has honed and developed her creative skills through her academic studies—most recently obtaining a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art. Her continued commitment to craft and design has encouraged her to build on this passion and dev
elop a wide range of artistic skills. Inspired to create something bespoke, modern, and romantic for her own wedding, Sandra began her journey designing and handcrafting luxury bridal accessories by making her own headpiece. Based in Belfast, Sandra has painstakingly researched and sourced the finest materials to create a luxury handmade bridal adornment and veil collection, the Celestial Collection—beautifully handcrafted using freshwater pearls, soft English tulle, Austrian rhinestones, silk veiling, and Swarovski crystals. Using gold and silver plated materials, the handcrafted wire creations have an heirloom quality—perfect for brides that want to cherish and pass on the memories of their wedding day. When sourcing the finest laces, Sandra strips away the existing beadwork before hand-sewing a unique arrangement of beads, rhinestones and pearls, thus constructing a completely original creation. In creating the Celestial Collection, Sandra has striven to develop a collection that she would be proud to wear herself, while catering for a range of bridal styles: from relaxed bohemian, to high glamour, from effortlessly cool, to the classically elegant bride. She also offers a bespoke service, affording brides the opportunity to discuss their vision for a luxury piece, creating something that is exclusive to their style.
