Well, cheers to an absolutely fantastic week! The buzz in the city centre was just amazing and we can’t wait for next year already!

Meet Oilibhín, the only way we could round out our week of daily outfit drops! Inspired by The Black Stuff itself and named after the woman behind the whole enterprise! Big thanks to The Garrick for supplying us with a perfect pint to picture with Oilibhín, in the only glass given out in the whole of Belfast this week 🖤

✨Fresh Fleadh Drop ✨

The Hag of Beara, or the ancient winter goddess Cailleach, who turned to stone waiting for her sea-god husband Manannán mac Lir. Stories say that she shaped the Irish landscape by dropping stones from her apron.

Hence we created Cailleach (the Veiled One) and Muireann (of the Sea), fine printed organza, reminiscent of granite, knotted and grounded with velvet. Muireann is designed to be worn almost like an apron whilst Cailleach’s skirt doubles as a cape.

The Fleadh has inspired us this week to explore elements of Irish culture and mythology, and for our first offering, we give you Boínn.

In Irish mythology, the milky way is known as Bealach na Bó Finne, meaning "Way of the White Cow". It was viewed as a heavenly mirror of the sacred River Boyne, which is linked to the goddess Boínn, whose name also refers to a white or illuminated cow.

This ivory taffeta gown features a wrap skirt with structured drape and one shoulder top that can be worn with dramatic top flourish or cape back.
