Two chairs. Two very different transformations. 🪑✨
These chairs arrived looking very different from how they left!
From stripping them back and working on the frames, to rebuilding, cutting, pattern matching and carefully putting everything back together — there’s a LOT that goes on behind the scenes of an upholstery project.
It’s always lovely seeing an old chair given a completely new lease of life rather than ending up unwanted or heading to landfill. ❤️

🌿 A little holiday thinking… and a BIG list! 🚌💭

I’m currently sitting on my big green double-decker bus, enjoying some much-needed holiday time… and apparently using it to do a LOT of thinking! 😂

I’ve been working on my “50 things to do before I’m 50” list — with the deadline being June 2027. 🎉

But I’ve had a bit of a rethink…

Some of the things on my original list are either a) rather expensive 💷 or b) possibly a little unrealistic to squeeze in before I hit 50! 🤣

So, rather than putting pressure on myself to complete a very ambitious list, I’ve decided I need to add MORE things so I have plenty of options to reach my 50!

And this is where you come in…

A sad day at RKS yesterday as we had to say sweet dreams to Sebastian.
When RKS was at my home he was the welcoming meow you would receive and was often found sleeping in my tool bag or my fabric scraps bin!
At 13 he was part of my whole working for myself journey and I will miss him so very much ❤️🌈🐾
