These figures are from the SEEP Company, and here are some more results from the big plastic count.

- 82% of household plastic waste is food and drink products
- 13 billion pieces of fruit & veg packaging thrown away annually
- Only 16% of UK plastic waste is actually recycled

What things can you do?

✅ Choose loose & unpackaged fruit & veg produce where possible - from local grocers is a great choice

✅ Consider microplastic-free cleaning essentials for your home

✅ Swap clingfilm for Tupperware and storage tubs to store food.

We know it's the little efforts from many that make the huge impact. Will you try to change anything?
