What a crazy but absolutely lovely few months we have had. We have been so deep into the depth of altering dresses for lots of amazing brides and prom girls that I’m sure I’ve blinked and we are now in the middle of June! Where has the time gone! We have lots of lovely brides collecting this week and some more proms to finish. Summer season is well and truly underway. ✨

Thank you to everyone that has sent through photos, I will start sharing soon. You all looked amazing on your day. Also thank you to everyone who has given gifts and cards, means the world ✨

Our beautiful bride Sam on her wedding day in March in her gown. Sam’s dress was taken in on the bodice sides, straps shortened and length shortened.

Congratulations to all of our April and May brides. Our last gorgeous May bride collected today and I just can’t believe how quickly these past two months have gone.

We have sewn bodice shortenings, huge size reductions, simple bodice take ins, lace hems, bagged hems, lots of straps have been made and so much more.

Thank you to you all for choosing us, means the world. We hope you had wonderful days and we@cannot wait to see photos!💕

Just a temporary post to have a little moan/rant whatever you want to call it on this dreary Sunday morning.
These past two fitting days we’ve had two no shows of new brides. Both were sent the reminder text, both were sent a message to ask if they were still coming and both have read the message and not replied!!
It is so rude guys to do this!

We are very lucky to be completely booked up for the next few months and we very rarely get a no show but it’s really frustrating that that’s 6 appointments in the diary for two people who couldn’t be bothered to just let me know that they weren’t coming especially Saturdays that are like gold dust!

This is my appeal to anyone who is booking anything, whether it be wedding related, restaurants etc- CONTACT THE BUSINESSES TO CANCEL if you aren’t going to make it.

Small businesses are already struggling enough without people wasting their time.

Anyway just my thoughts this morning. All the brides that we did see these past two days, thank you it was lovely seeing you all 🤍

It was so lovely to work with Katie and her mum, our appointments were just wonderful 🤍
We altered Katie’s dress on the sleeves by taking them out and shortening the cuffs, to gain more movement.
We shortened the shoulders, reshaped the neckline and shortened the dress.
