Looking for a friendly, welcoming craft group to join? Come along to “A Stitch in Time” — a wonderful community group meeting every Wednesday morning at Cowpen Sports and Leisure Club, Cowpen Lane, Billingham.
🕥 Wednesdays | 10:30am – 12:30pm
☕ Tea, coffee & biscuits included!
We welcome all ages, genders and abilities — whether you’re a complete beginner, experienced knitter or crocheter, or simply looking for some lovely company and a chat 😊
Bring along your own WiP’s (works in progress), start something brand new, or join in with the group’s amazing charity and community projects 🫶
Many of our members knit or crochet in all different styles and patterns, and our lovely group is fantastic at helping beginners learn new skills too 🧶✨
If you’d love to attend but struggle with transport, please let us know — someone from the group may be able to help with a lift 🚗

The group has been running for over 4 years now and is founded and run by the wonderful Janet Atkin — one of the kindest and most welcoming people you could meet.
