July 2024 - BlackLine Clothing

1st pic - The first pic of the ACTUAL jersey and trousers we’ve got in the range. It was the most painful, gruelling, expensive, frustrating process ever. When we dialled in the fit of the jerseys, cracked the material for the Exiles and put it all together it was such a big moment.

2nd pic - Sometimes what looks good on paper, looks…. Interesting in person. Even with specific size dimensions given to suppliers there’s always slight nuances that can affect the way they fit and feel. Circulation to this day never quite returned to my legs 😂

3rd pic - Testing out the super-minimal jersey down the beach. A big goal of BlackLine is producing a range that you can wear in and off the bike. Our jerseys work on the bike, on a walk, at the beach - wherever. We always focus on a minimalist style to make the clothing super versatile.

4th pic - Testing out the water repellency across different materials. There’s always compromises here - breathability, comfort, stretch - it all needs to be considered. We think we’ve got one of the BEST materials you can use for trousers on the market to make them a versatile pair you can wear all year.

5th pic - Playing around with logo sizes. Too big and it looks vulgar, too small and you don’t get a feel for the brand. Again seeing something in person is so, so different to a screen.

The last year and a half has FLOWN by, can’t wait see what 2026 brings as we grow the range and brand - I hope you come along for the ride!
