We are pleased to announce that both Chris Barrie and Danny John-Jules aka Arnold Rimmer and The Cat from Red Dwarf will be joining us for Pyramids Shopping Centre Comic Con taking place at Pyramids Shopping Centre over the weekend of April 25th and April 26th!

Chris will be joining us on Saturday 25th

Danny will be with us on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th

We look forward to welcoming them both

This is a free to enter event with a trader market, celebrity guests and table top gaming demonstrations throughout the weekend too!

To celebrate the stores first anniversary

So on 16th November 2024, That Geeky Place opened its doors for the very first time. What started off as an idea being banded around at Angela’s wake became reality as Geeky Nerd Toys, iwgclothing and Starbase 55 collectibles came together.

A lot has changed since we opened with IWG Clothing leaving the business in late September, but a huge thanks to Paul and his team for their help and assistance during the previous ten months.

That Geeky Place has gone from strength to strength in the past year hosting two comic cons in the Pyramids Shopping Centre and plans for a third one to be unveiled in early 2026!

But in the meantime we need to celebrate our first anniversary opening with a celebration weekend. So this weekend coming Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd we will celebrate our first anniversary with a host of special offers and giveaways!

The first 25 customers to spend £20 or more instore on Saturday 22nd will receive a free goodie bag containing a free t-shirt, a Funko Pop! Vinyl and other goodies including raffle tickets to win a signed Funko Pop! Vinyl Beelejuice Beetlejuice Bob signed by Nick Kellington. One of the goodie bags will also have a gift voucher for instore use valued at £25!

All customers on both Saturday and Sunday will receive raffle tickets to win the signed Funko over the course of the weekend and instore there will be a whole host of special offers in selected stock lines too!

Morning all some updates to the store this morning, new Hatsune Miku statues and plushies in stock and we now have a range of Hatsune Miku t shirts these are officially licensed products and have been much requested in store now.
