A belief I built this brand on.

Here’s a thought forget the price tag for a sec.

I recently read that a study was taking place with adding cost per wear when labelling the clothes and it was having a strong effect on shoppers- showing that fast fashion cost more that higher quality.

This isn't groundbreaking news, it's just an added bonus to help change people's mindsets around clothing with added proof and something I've been banging on about since I started.

So next time flip reverse and start really thinking about how long something actually lasts and the value your investing in - your future bank balance will thank you 😉

My customer asked for something I'd never made before

And they are blown away by it ❤️

The other day I shared how I was taking a very special saddle and making it into bespoke products that can be used.

Tricky - yes but did I nail it - absolutely

The fact I can take an item and create these special pieces means more than anything and just highlights heirloom fashion at its best.

What an honour it was attending The Leathersellers Alumni Event on Tuesday evening.

A few months back a lovely lady contacted me asking if I was interested in taking a very sentimental horse saddle apart and recreating the pieces into keepsake items.

This was something a little bit different for LRLC but as I'm always up for a challenge, I said yes plus keeping a special item alive by being made up into items so they can be used is definitely up my street.

Has it been a challenge, absolutely but one thing for sure want I didn't want rush this process as I could feel how special it was.

I'm on to the the last part of it but here are a few sneak peek of them coming together.

Stepping out of your business for the day can be daunting
