A small moment from August that reminded me why I do this.

A client came to me through my reworked service with a leather jacket she had inherited from her mum, she wanted to be able to wear it and give it a new lease of life.

So, we worked together to add two leather panels down each side of the jacket, giving her a little more ease. I also opened up and enlarged the cuffs so they sat more comfortably around her wrists.

The jacket then had a good condition, a fresh updated lining, and to finish it off, I added a small butterfly and forget-me-not design, a sentimental touch to honour her mum. 🦋

I love being able to take something so meaningful and make it wearable again, without losing the story behind it.

Bringing that heirloom energy and reigniting something special.

Im back The Portly Pig Ripon with my biggest boldest badass self workshop on Wednesday 23rd sept at 1pm

This workshop is all about embracing your biggest boldest badass self, explore who you are, build confidence and unlock your creative potential to the you first steps toward building a creative business.

It will be a very informal relaxed evening with zero pressure, so I won't be expecting you to stand up and talk etc as I know personally how daunting that can be.

Think of it of a big collaborative discussion where we help each other

by the end of the workshop, you will:

• discover and connect with your boldest self

- Build confidence to show up on your business authentically.

- Express your identity through your personal style

-Create a personal Mood Board for yourself and business
