Nicola’s ironing and sewing services I offer an ironing service, plus a sewing repair/alteration service. I DONT DO… bedding, towels, wedding dress or delicate material.

I keep my pricing simple:
0-19 items £25
20-29 items £30
FREE collection within 1 mile of me then £1 per mile after that.

And it’s back to Monday again.I’ve had a lovely few days away with family (and a hot tub!) and now back to work… working...

And it’s back to Monday again.
I’ve had a lovely few days away with family (and a hot tub!) and now back to work… working early mornings to avoid the heatwave!!!
I have 3 spaces left this week for ironing and have already started booking into next week!!

This week I said farewell to one of my best ironing customers 🤗 she has been with me well over a year and now is moving abroad. Such an amazing next chapter for her and the family.
So I now have a space for a regular fortnightly (2 weekly) iron. Can do same day if needed.

Amsterdam is so beautiful… I definitely recommend people visit it, and the cruise ship… good food, good shows, good staff and amazing company!!

I am now back to work after an amazing 10 days off.
A much needed break!
Supporting the boyfriend in Bolton for his pool and then a cruise to Amsterdam!
And now it’s back to normal 🙄
Amsterdam was so beautiful… we only really got one day there so definitely want to revisit it.

It’s Friday again 😏
Just a couple of hours work then off for the weekend.

On the sewing side of my business… I’m finding most of my customers are wanting hems done: taken up, of items they have bought on Vinted. Gotta love Vinted 😏
Now I can’t do every hem… I don’t have all the machines needed… but I do enjoy the ‘simple’ ones and also taking up jeans (the Taylor way)
Hers a skirt I took up the other day… with enough fabric left over for a matching hair band if she wanted.

I have a few ironing spots for next week, including same day ironing on Wednesday and Thursday.

But today I am working on some reusable eco friendly make up/face wipes with matching bags.
Perfect for travelling or just staying home. And my new favourite part is designing the paper packaging on canva
