Incorporating all his interests.... bird watching (particularly in the Shetlands and North Norfolk), natural history, travel, cars, music and a cheeky childhood snapshot!

A pleasant Sunday afternoon spent at Blaby Antiques Centre 🖼🌞🌻

Stocked up my pitch with a few newly framed prints and postcards plus framed vintage Ladybird book covers. 🐞

I have been meaning to try this for ages.... I don't like throwing away the old book covers when I salvage the pages for my cards so have been saving them. I may be biased but I think they look great! 🤣

Also the last of my Ladybird dad cards, ideal for Father's Day.

Finished off my visit with a refreshing iced tea and lemon and pistachio blondie from Latte Lounge - yum 😋

A little sort out and stock up at Blaby Antiques Centre 🥰

Lots of mix and match china trios, upcycled cake stands, delicate Japanese cups and saucers, an original watercolour painting, toys, trinkets and curios.

Memories of the 1980s with the Pierrot bell and Fisher Price phone! Who remembers them? 🤩

I have spent a few days in Paris again and had to visit my favourite flea markets 🥰

I was lucky enough to be there for the first day of the antiques fair on Friday, which only takes place twice a year. Fantastic despite the torrential rain!

Best find was a printers tray to put on my wall for just 10 euros 😱 Had fun carrying that halfway across Paris on the metro, then all the way home by train!

Then had a lovely Saturday morning at and . Such wonderful stalls, I could spend hours there just wandering. My favourite is Missy who sells beautiful haberdashery, ephemera, fabric boxes and wallpaper samples. I have bought from her many times!

Also found a fabric and haberdashery stall where everything in the boxes was 2 euros each! 😱 You can bet I had a rummage and got some great finds.

Someone had dumped a collection of old encyclopedias in a Chanel bag.... Sadly had to leave it behind as I couldn't carry any more! 😕

Still thinking of organising a group trip some time. Would anyone like to come treasure hunting with me?
