One of my favourite parts of my job (which I’ve now been doing for over 20 years! 👵) is when a bride picks out a new lace and I get to play with it. 🥰 There are literally so many options out there to choose from. Sometimes we’re trying to match up to the lace on the dress, or sometimes the dress has no lace of its own so we’re simply trying to find something super eye-catching and pretty. 😍

VEIL POSITIONING 🤍

I’m a big fan of veils being worn at the crown 👑 I find it tends to be the most flattering position because you can see more of the hair but also still see the veil, which feels like the best of both worlds.

You can also wear it further back, which is perfect for a low updo or half-up half-down.

Worn right at the front hairline gives maximum visibility to the veil itself, though it does naturally cover more of your hair and creates a stronger face-framing effect.

Of course, placement always comes down to personal style and the overall look you want to achieve. Always best to discuss ideas with your hair stylist during your trial. 🥰

What I wouldn’t give to be able to sew this fast in real life 🙃🥰

I’m putting the finishing touches to a very pretty lace veil today. This has been a crazy-busy year for lace veils so far in 2026. Mantilla veils in particular are SUPER popular at the moment!

We’ve been making a LOT of two layer Chantilly lace veils so far in 2026. That and single layer mantillas (where the lace lays flat over your head) seem to be a BIG bridal veil trend this year. 🫶🏻🥰
