Once upon a time there was a mummy-to-be who longed for a little girl. One day her wish came true and the little girl was as beautiful and as cute as could be, with big blue eyes and light blond hair. All was perfect apart from one tiny thing. A wicked witch had cast a spell on the little girl which meant that although she was cute and pretty, she would grow up to be a tomboy. Mummy wanted to dres

s her pretty little girl in pink and floral dresses, but the little girl loved Batman. The obsession grew and grew until she would only wear boyish clothes and outfits. Mummy was sad because she wanted her daughter to wear princess dresses and pretty colours but the little girl was strong willed (a bit like her mummy, her daddy had said). Mummy just didn't know what to do to break the nasty spell. Then one day, mummy had an idea and made a tutu our of black and yellow tulle, she added a bat shaped motif and when the little girl saw it she jumped for joy. Mummy was happy because her daughter was wearing a twirly tutu and forgot that is was black (minor flaw). The little girl was happy because she could wear her favourite character costume and they all lived happily ever after. But that's not the end of the story. From that day Lulu in a Tutu was born and now all little girls, be them tomboys or princess wannabes can wear beautiful tutus throughout the land. As you may have realised, Lulu in a Tutu was inspired by my daughter who loves all things Batman. I have this desire to put her in girly girl dresses but she is totally a tomboy. Tutu dresses are our little compromise - she looks girly whilst being dressed as her favourite 'boy' characters. We make unique tutu dresses and accessories. All our designs can be tailor made to suit your specifications. Let me know the favourite character/colour etc. and we will design something for them to love x
