It is with great sadness that I am announcing the end of WJ Heritage Ltd. I have had some amazing support in the past thirteen months, and faced some serious hurdles. Lessons have been learnt, with a mixture of happiness and frustration.
The original concept was simple... to continue my Grandpa's incredible legacy for generations to come. With that came the idea of supplying high quality, organic clothing. As a father of two myself, I know how frustrating it can be for your kids' clothes, and your own clothes, to lose shape & colour after only a couple of washes. I was certain this brand would make a difference.

The clothing marketplace is incredibly difficult to break in to. At ComicCon, we saw t-shirts being sold for £8-10. The quality of the garment and the print was unknown, but they being sold in their hundreds. On top of that, big online brands will always come out on top in this industry. So without serious investment, WJ Heritage will always be a very small fish in the ocean.
Having said all of that, I have not regretted a single moment of the journey. I hope those that bought one of our products have loved wearing it, and will continue to do so for years to come.
I hope everyone has discovered something special about Walt Howarth that they will pass on to their younger generations. My Grandpa was an incredible talent, and an even greater human being. I tried pal, with great pride as I did it, but we live & learn.

Thank you very much for all of your support in 2021. As a very new, family run business, we didn't know how it would go when we had the idea to set up WJ Heritage.
We've learned a lot in the last seven months - good and bad. The main aim was, and always will be, to continue the amazing legacy of Walt Howarth.
