Black Friday is looming, and there are buying incentives everywhere. Here at Violet and Peach it doesn’t sit right with us; this pressure to buy and buy some more, and the only reason is because it’s so cheap! We understand, in the current climate many struggle financially and want to take advantage of these amazing offers. But we would like to see a change, don’t buy it because it’s so amazingly cheap, only buy it because you need it! This world is so full of stuff; we certainly don’t need more of it.
As a green business we want to see a change, and things being reused is a cornerstone of today’s change of consumerism behaviour. We are not taking part of Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but we’ll do a green week! We want to make people aware of and use (and reuse!) eco products, hence the offer we’re putting on.
