Bring your child along to our fun beginner-friendly sewing camp where they’ll learn new skills and make their own tote bag!

It was a pleasure to be part of annual conference and AGM. They had workshops and 1:1 sessions that were delivered by experts to help and support organisations focusing on topics such as how to protect your charity and beneficiaries from fraud and scams, building diverse funding streams, preparing for local government reforms, volunteer safety, using digital tools and AI as a volunteer, and more! It was a pleasure seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. Thank you for an another amazing conference. I must say this year was bigger and better 🙌🏾

Today, my primary school group did their fitting! Oh my goodness!!!!!!!! It was a “ghe rara hia” moment(get out of here). I feel so blessed, I can tell you that for free 🥰🥰🥰

Am I nervous? Or am I nervous? 😂

The countdown is almost over...

In just 4 days, our students will be stepping onto the runway to showcase months of hard work, creativity, determination, and courage.

And if I’m honest, I think what I’m feeling is a mixture of excitement, pride, anticipation... and maybe just a tiny bit of panic. 😅

Not because I don’t believe in what we’ve created.

But because I’ve watched these students grow, overcome challenges, learn new skills, and create garments they never thought possible. I have learned and grown too.

This show means something.

To make it even more special, these photos were taken by former Sewing Studio student , who is now studying Fashion at university. Watching our students continue their creative journeys is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Now all that’s left is for the curtain to rise.

Behind the scenes, our students are working incredibly hard, cutting, sewing, fitting, unpicking (yes, that too! 😆), and bringing their designs to life.

What makes this event so special isn’t just the garments you’ll see on the runway. It’s the confidence, creativity, determination, and skills these young designers have developed along the way.

In just 7 days, they’ll be showcasing months of hard work, and we couldn’t be prouder.

When I teach, I never aim for perfection. My goal is always progress, confidence, creativity, and a love for learning. But somehow, these students always push themselves to create the best outfits they possibly can, and I couldn’t be prouder of them.

The countdown is on, and I cannot wait for you to see the final results on the runway.
