It's not a sad thing.
I opened up as a small biz during the pandemic. My job as a choir director and performing artist disappeared for almost two years. It was crushing. I lost a part of my identity and my source of income.
I felt I had to channel my creative energy into something else, and to try to earn some money too. So my hobby, became a small business.
I'm proud of every sale, and every item made. I have put my heart and soul into it and have been so supported by many lovely customers. Thank you!!
Now I'm back to directing and performing and need to focus all my energy there. Building back up my community of choirs is time consuming, and wonderful, and one of the things that fills me with such joy.
So I will no longer be operating as a small business.
However, if you've ordered from me before, or are a friend, do get in touch if you want me to make something for you. I will still be sewing plenty, but for fun.
Thank you to each and every person who has supported my small biz.
You helped keep me sane, and helped me provide for my family during a very tough time. I appreciated every single order.
I will still use this page to post things I'm making for myself and my family, to log my sewing journey.
