Produced a fun little submission for an AUB colouring book competition, by students for students. 12 designs will be selected to complete a Fresher's Fair colouring book to be handed out in goodie bags to first years. Fingers crossed!

10/05/2017 - Final Hand-in: Comprehensive Design Project

A proposal for extending the Bournemouth Natural Sciences Society into a part-museum, part-residential complex on the Bournemouth coastline is now complete and handed in. A massive thank-you to Aaron Quinn, 3D artist at Darcstudio for providing the final renders of the above-ground portion of the building.

Scale Models with Cement Mixture and Plastic Moulds

To help visualise an Orwellian future for Poole as part of the Future Scenarios project, I had to learn about vacuum molding, silicon molding, and cement mixing. Scale models were produced in plywood first - the concrete watchtower took trial and error but was successful in the end!

30/03/2017 - Mid-Project Rendering: Comprehensive Design Project

Sometimes, layout plans and sections cannot describe the atmosphere of a building entirely - a 3D render is necessary to give viewers an idea of atmosphere and space. My preferred method of rendering is tracing over SketchUp images with coloured marker pen, then editing with Photoshop.
