So impressed with myself this week. 5 new shades of soft tulle arrived Tuesday, on the website by Friday morning. Not bad! I think my motivation came from how much I love these new hues. But I know what you are thinking.... do we need more tulle colours?!? And the answer is always yes. Especially when they are this yummy.

When you realize the soft tulle you are packing matches the new dress you are wearing! 😀💚💚💚💚 if like me you are loving green at the moment we also have micro satin in this shade (just saying...)

I'm here to boast. Yesterday I did something very unexpected. I did a live show! It was very very VERY outside of my comfort zone. I decided it was time to tackle the growing piles of offcuts. Someone suggested to me I try whatnot. I was really skeptical at first. I watched lots of videos ( I probably spent more money on other people's stuff than I should have) but after a few weeks of prep, I decided it was now or never. For someone who spends their working week alone, and avoids letting anyone in the workplace to see anything, preferring to hide away behind the safety net of being an online only retailer, this is a BIG deal. Sadly for the rest of the world, now I know how easy it is, I will be doing it more. If you want to watch me making an arse of myself, I'm on at 6.20 pm on a Wednesday for random box pulls!

I think this may be the last new product we launch in 2024 people! And what an eyecatcher it is too. So fun to photograph. Can't beat a bit of wired ribbon to elevate some stunning gift wrapping. The best bit is, it can totally be re-used year after year. Does anyone else do that? I have a box of ribbons that get re-purposed every year. Anyway, I digress from why I'm here. This is a taffeta ribbon printed with a classic tartan check in a contrasting black colour. Whip stitched with a wire in the edge and gold glitter surface decor. We sell it per metre for those that want just a little, or a 9m roll for those that need lots! (That would be me then....)

We decided to stock these recycled tapestry fabrics as we were curious about the concept. I have to say I'm really pleased with the quality. There was a huge selection of jacquard designs to choose from which made it so hard to settle on these. What do you think? I reckon the bag makers out there will love them.

Hello there! It's been a long time since I posted. Some might have thought like many stores, we might have closed. Actually we're still here miraculously, building our fabric range and re-imagining what On Trend Fabrics does. Stocking this gem for me feels like we're turning a corner and bouncing back! I had to share....
So this is a cotton fabric printed with baubles and has a stunning copper bronze foil outline. I felt it was so different from the usual boring array of Christmas fabrics out there I just had to stock it!

Here we go 2024! This is a clue as to what's happening for us this weekend.... a big move! Yes On Trend Fabrics is getting a new home in Bourton on the Water. Not much to show yet other than a huge empty room. As soon as it looks pretty I will share. #2024
