Ooh I LOVE ❤️ getting a time sensitive commission 🕰⏱⏰ - it means I HAVE to put other things to one side and SEW 🪡🧵

Alterations: neckline stabilised to avoid stretching, smaller neck hole to stop it slipping off shoulders, lengthened by 20cm so they can be worn scrunched up or pulled down over leggings/skinny jeans.

Busy week with the Covid…knowcked out a variety of leggings and sun tops/dresses for the girl and her friend and EVEN managed to make some culottes for ME!
New leggings were a hit with the girl as she has grown 5cm and lost the same off her waist (her sports activities are paying off!) so none of last year’s leggings fit!

One Foxy Top for a fox mad 6 year old 🦊🦊
I wanted thumb cuffs so changed that part of the pattern and added foxy ears!
Best part - this was my first make using the projector - it was sooo easy and no faffing with paper! So excited to use it more.

- I changed the pockets, I just used the colour blocked shape to make a large pocket, rather than adding a little one. I may stitch the top and bottom parts of the pocket down so it’s not so flappy.

Look at this happy new pants face 🤩 It feels so good when you make something and it fits so perfectly!
This was done with an extensive set of measurements taken by the customer and one fitting for final adjustments when they were nearly finished.
Next pair for her are in process. 🕺🕺🕺

From frumpy dress to fabulous skirt in just a few stitches!

This dress was terribly frumpy and unflattering, we talked about a full adjustment of the top, but it would have needed a huge amount of work (completely remodelling) to make it fit nicely, so we decided on a skirt that would be ready in time for Christmas instead ☺️
