I'm planning on opening Sunrise at 8am on both days of the Summers End Angus Fringe.
It'll be interesting to be part of the vibe.
I'm grateful that the organising team are doing this for Brechin. Let's hope for sunshine🌞.

Did anyone go to this over 20 years ago now?

I'd already been trading at festivals for 20 years and would never consider an event quite like this, until it was more or less on the doorstep.

It was one of the strangest events to be at.
We were camped with the stall but none of the ticket holders could camp. I think it was a different audience each day.

My kids were aged 9, 11 and 18 at the time. So despite the fact they'd been brought up with festivals, it was a whole different experience as we were there a lot of the time with none of the audience. The kids could wander about, hang out with a few of their festival pals. They could see the acts doing sound checks before the audience were let in. It was certainly
a very different kind of event for us. It was fine, but I never wanted to repeat it. 🤣
