Bride looked beautiful in pure silk duchesse satin - shot cream/gold. Full corset bodice with laced back and full pleated skirt. Used the reverse for the bridesmaids. Mother of the bride wore cotton velvet jacket trimmed with dark fuschia silk satin and flapper, high waisted trousers in fuschia heavy silk crepe, lined with 100% crepe to limit creasing.

Received this lovely piccy of my client wearing a beautiful electric blue wedding dress I made. Superior satin crepe provided the drape for this close-fitting retro style, featuring dozens of covered buttons and loops from top to bottom at the back and up the sleeves.

Just finished my client’s 50’s swing coat. The fur looks fabulous and the buttons are spot on. Only one problem - I don’t want to let it go! 😩

Just about to copy this cashmere swing coat that my client loves and has enjoyed wearing for nearly 20 years. Materials have all arrived promptly; black wool/cashmere mix from Truro fabrics, 100% viscose satin lining, tricot knit underlining and shoulder pads etc. Already cut a pattern and steamed the wool to stop any shrinkage.

Just finished avcopy of a 40’s style tea dress. My client chose this lovely chestnut viscose fabric. A bit lighter in weight than the original fabric so I lined it with cupro lining. The skirt is cut across the grain which gives a more flattering fit.

Why not have a favourite dress copied? My client chose this beautiful Liberty duchesse pure silk satin. Perfect drape and colour for this simple, flattering style. Gathered detail on the shoulder, with a front vent, and featuring a long sash at the back which gives a lovely profile.
Her original dress was a perfect fit, so no worries there. It’s definitely the way to go!

Shortened this stunning little pure silk, fine chiffon dress. Literally metres and metres of fabric with a teeny, weeny whipped hem. No wonder I'm going blind!

Reduced this beautiful designer wedding dress down three sizes to fit the lovely Anna Barnes.
