🍺🏆 PBKO DEBATE: HARRY KANE — DESERVED WINNER OR NOT?

Let’s be honest… we think Harry Kane deserved that Ballon d’Or.

73 GOALS. The assists. The performances. The consistency. 🤯

Those numbers are absolutely ridiculous. And if we're judging footballers on what they actually produce on the pitch, Kane has one hell of a case.

But we want to hear what YOU think.

🍻 THE PUB DEBATE:

👍 YES — Kane deserved it. The goals and assists speak for themselves.

👎 NO — Someone else should have won it.

🤔 NOT SURE — It was too close to call.

And can we talk about the absolute shambles with the website? 😂

Announcing the winners early, then deleting the posts when someone realised they'd cocked it up.

Scheduling a social media post is always dodgy, lads. 🤣

Imagine spoiling your own biggest awards ceremony because someone forgot to check the schedule. That's a proper own goal.

🏆 So, over to you…

DID HARRY KANE DESERVE THE BALLON D’OR?

Tell us why in the comments. Keep it football, keep it lively, and let's have a proper PBKO debate!

🚨 BRUNO FERNANDES HAS JUST THROWN CARRICK UNDER THE BUS. 🚨

When your own captain starts publicly questioning the manager's tactics, you've got a MASSIVE problem.

Bruno's basically saying United aren't pressing properly, they're leaving space, and they're allowing teams to dictate games.

Translation? The players aren't buying into what's being asked of them.

But let's get real for a second…

🔴 The Glazers are still there.
🔴 Ratcliffe and INEOS are running the football operation.
🔴 The manager is under pressure.
🔴 The captain is airing his frustrations in public.

And we're supposed to believe this is all going to magically fix itself?

THIS ISN'T A FOOTBALL CLUB. IT'S A CIRCUS. 🤡

Carrick might not be the answer. But how many managers are we going to throw under the bus before we admit the problems run a hell of a lot deeper than the dugout?

GLAZERS OUT. JIM OUT. SORT THIS CLUB OUT.

What's your verdict? Is Bruno right to speak out, or should the captain be backing his manager instead of questioning him in public?

18/10/2026

🚨 UNITED FANS… HOW BAD CAN THIS GET?! 🍺⚽

Enough is enough. 😤

🔴 THE MANAGER HAS TO GO.
🔴 THE GLAZERS HAVE TO GO.
🔴 JIM RATCLIFFE HAS TO GO.

Another disappointing result, another week of questions, and Manchester United look miles away from where a club of their size should be.

But here's a question that could make things even more embarrassing… 👀

Everyone is talking about Manchester City potentially being relegated over the 115 charges.

But what if the biggest shock isn't City going down?

🤯 WHAT IF MAN UNITED GET RELEGATED… AND CITY STAY UP?!

Imagine the banter. Imagine the headlines. Imagine the fallout at Old Trafford.

City fans watching United go down while they remain in the Premier League? That would be absolute footballing chaos. 😂

It's hypothetical, of course, but United need to sort themselves out before things get even worse.

🍺 Pints Before Kick-Off wants your verdict:

👇 Who needs to go first — the manager, the Glazers or Jim Ratcliffe?

And be honest… could you ever imagine United getting relegated while City stay up?

🚨🍺 ROONEY VS MARTÍNEZ… WHO'S ACTUALLY RIGHT? 👀

Manchester United lose 2-0 to Atlético Madrid… and the fallout is already kicking off. 🔥

🇦🇷 Lisandro Martínez has had a pop at the United hierarchy, questioning whether the club has done enough in the transfer market to build a squad capable of competing.

🗣️ Wayne Rooney's response? He agrees United need investment, but reckons Martínez has gone too far and disrespected his own teammates by airing it in public.

And here's where it gets interesting… 👇

🍺 TEAM MARTÍNEZ: Someone needs to call out the people running the club. Stop blaming managers and look upstairs.

🍺 TEAM ROONEY: Sort it behind closed doors. If you're not performing yourself, don't start pointing fingers.

But what about Carrick? He's the manager caught in the middle while the pressure keeps building.

OVER TO YOU, PBKO… 🍻

Is Martínez speaking the truth United fans need to hear, or has he crossed the line?

🚨🔴 CARRICK'S UNITED FUTURE: IS LEEDS NOW A MUST-WIN?

Atlético Madrid 2-0 Manchester United. 😬

Concede after 53 seconds, fail to take your chances, lose 2-0 and head home with even more questions hanging over Michael Carrick.

Next up? LEEDS AWAY.

United have managed just six points from their opening six Premier League games. The pressure is mounting, and another bad afternoon at Elland Road could leave INEOS facing a massive decision.

Names being linked with the job include Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann and Antonio Conte. But links aren't appointments, and Carrick hasn't been officially sacked.

🍺 PBKO DEBATE:

A) Give Carrick the Leeds game and judge him afterwards.

B) Make the change now.

C) Keep him until Christmas and give him time.

What's your call, Reds? 👇

😂 YOU COULDN'T WRITE IT

Manchester City have just been found guilty by an independent commission of serious financial breaches.

A major part of the case involved commercial sponsorship arrangements and disguised owner funding — with sponsorship revenue allegedly inflated by hundreds of millions.

And now...

Etihad Airways — Manchester City's principal sponsor since 2009 — is considering legal action against the Premier League.

Etihad says it was unfairly implicated and wasn't given the opportunity to defend itself.

But here's the bit that makes this whole thing absolutely wild:

The sponsor is an Abu Dhabi state-linked company.

The club is owned by Abu Dhabi interests.

The commission found that City used commercial arrangements involving Abu Dhabi-linked sponsors as part of a scheme that artificially inflated revenues.

And now one of those sponsors is threatening the Premier League because of the fallout.

Nobody is saying Etihad itself has been found guilty of anything.

But seriously...

How on earth did we get to the point where the sponsor connected to the club at the centre of the biggest financial case in Premier League history is now threatening to sue the Premier League over the consequences of that very case? 🤯

This isn't the end of the story.

It's getting started.

25/09/2026

🚨 THIS COULD GET VERY, VERY UGLY FOR MAN CITY.

Forget the points deduction debate for a minute…

Premier League clubs are reportedly preparing legal action following Manchester City’s reported guilty verdict.

Lawyers have already been mobilised.

Clubs are talking to each other.

Compensation claims are being discussed.

And crucially…

ANY LEGAL ACTION WOULD COME AFTER THE APPEALS PROCESS.

Now imagine the carnage if City’s verdict ultimately stands. 👀

💥 Points deductions?
💥 Compensation claims?
💥 Past titles questioned?
💥 Clubs demanding millions?
💥 League positions revisited?
💥 A potential relegation punishment?

And that's before you even get into the 114 guilty findings.

This isn't just about what happens to Manchester City anymore.

It could potentially open the biggest can of worms English football has ever seen.

Imagine being the Premier League trying to work out who is owed what… and for which season. 🤯

The lawyers could be just getting started.

PBKO asks:

👇 If City's verdict survives appeal, WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS NEXT?

25/09/2026

🚨 114 GUILTY.

Right then, Premier League…

Everton: ONE financial breach → 6 points deducted after appeal.

Nottingham Forest: ONE breach → 4 points deducted.

Leicester: ONE financial breach → 6 points deducted.

Manchester City?

114 OF 115 CHARGES FOUND GUILTY.

Not one.
Not two.
Not three.

ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN.

So here's the question:

👇 HOW FAR SHOULD MAN CITY BE RELEGATED?

Championship?
League One?
League Two?

Or should the Premier League finally have the balls to throw the book at them?

Because if one rule break costs clubs points, what the f**k is 114 supposed to cost?

And let's not pretend this is just about a fine.

If financial rules are supposed to protect competitive integrity, breaking them on this scale can't simply become “pay a fine and crack on.”

The punishment has to mean something.

Your club could spend years playing by the rules…

…while City allegedly built an empire with 114 guilty findings hanging over it.

WHAT'S THE VERDICT, FOOTBALL?

👇 HOW FAR DOWN SHOULD THEY GO?

15/09/2026

🚨 JJ GABRIEL: TALENT OR TOO MUCH DRAMA?

JJ Gabriel is 15.

And already the noise around him seems almost as big as the hype.

There are plenty of claims about his dad — some rumours, some reported, and some we simply can't verify.

But IF even half of it is true, United have a problem.

Arguments over shirt numbers.
Wanting him to play years above his age.
Demands for first-team football.
Threats to leave.
Social-media drama.
And allegedly encouraging him to refuse first-team training.

HE'S 15.

Not 25.

Talent gets you through the door.

It doesn't mean the club owes you a first-team shirt.

If JJ really is the superstar everyone says he is, the best thing everyone around him can do is SHUT THE F**K UP AND LET HIM PLAY.

No tantrums.
No ultimatums.
No social-media battles.

Just football.

Because the biggest threat to a young player's career isn't always the club holding him back.

Sometimes it's the people telling him he's already bigger than it.

🚨 THE TRUTH IS OUT.

Funny how the world knew that goal was wrong THERE AND THEN.

Fans knew it.
Players knew it.
Pundits knew it.
Ex-referees knew it.
Michael Carrick knew it.
Gary Neville knew it.

And now, after all the bo****ks, PRO REF KNOWS IT TOO.

They've admitted it.

Not “unlucky, tough decision.”

Not “VAR got it right according to the laws.”

AN ERROR OF JUDGEMENT.

The very organisation responsible for making sure these decisions are correct has basically turned around and said:

Yeah… we f**ked that one.

Only there's one tiny problem.

You don't get to hand City the goal, let the final whistle go, let United lose the derby and THEN decide you made a mistake.

Football isn't a f**king rehearsal.

The whole point of VAR was supposed to be:

GET. THE. BIG. DECISIONS. RIGHT.

Instead we've got a room full of people staring at twenty camera angles for five minutes, somehow managing to make a decision that everyone watching in the stadium had already worked out in about three seconds.

And don't give us the “Haaland was onside” bo****ks.

NOBODY IS ARGUING ABOUT HAALAND.

It's the bloke standing OFFSIDE, six yards from goal, throwing himself at the ball and directly affecting what the defender has to do.

That is literally what the f**king rule is there for.

And now they've admitted VAR should have sent the referee to the screen.

Brilliant.

So what happens now?

Do we get the points back?

Do we replay the derby?

Do we magically put the goal back to 0-0?

No.

We get the traditional footballing solution:

“Sorry.”

F**k off.

Apologies don't put points on the table.

Apologies don't change the league table.

Apologies don't change a derby result.

And apologies certainly don't make supporters forget that the people running VAR apparently needed the entire f**king country screaming at them before they could see what everyone else saw instantly.

This isn't about losing because City were better.

This is about a system that is supposed to REMOVE doubt actually creating it.

And the most damning part?

THE WORLD KNEW IT WAS WRONG THERE AND THEN.

The fix isn't another apology.

The fix is admitting the system is broken and f**king
