Getting ready for this event next weekend. Telford Steam Railway is well worth a visit any time but for the 40’s weekend there’s so much happening. The vintage stalls are in Horsehay Village Hall just a few minutes walk from the railway, so pop along and say hello I’ll have a range of ladies and gents fashion for sale. We’ve just joined the Severnside Lindy class this evening at Coalport and had the best time - if you’ve been thinking about this, just do it! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before, Amanda and Rich are great teachers and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a great way to switch off from everything as you can only think about the steps you’re learning! See you there next week?

Phew! Hello vintage lovelies, how are you liking the heatwave? This pretty cotton 1950’s number is looking for a new home - size 12, bust 36” £38 - only one in stock so no chance of turning up to an event in the same outfit! After a busy weekend last week at Step Back to the 1940s Event at the Severn Valley Railway I’ve had a week of sorting through stock and have given the shop a refresh. The 40’s/50’s rail is full of fabulous dresses and jackets; gents section has had more hats added and there’s a new range of handbags on the back wall. I’m in The Old Mill Antiques Centre, telephone 01746 768778. it’s only a 10 minute walk from Severn Valley Railway so if you’re heading to their event this weekend pop in for a look around, you’ll find Natasha’s Tearooms on the first floor for refreshments.

Thank you to everyone who called at my stall yesterday at Step Back to the 1940s Event at the Severn Valley Railway great to see so many of my followers, thank you for your support. It was my first event for a while and so good to be back on the scene.
Big thanks to Emma from Vintage Dolly who organised and looked after the traders, your kindness was much appreciated. Finally my fellow traders for the chats and banter - it’s a great community to be part of.

Thank you everyone who dropped my stall at Step Back to the 1940s Event at the Severn Valley Railway today - didn’t get chance to take many photos, too busy chatting! 😁
We do it all again tomorrow from 10am so if you’re joining one of the trains be sure to get off at SVR Highley Station and support the vintage traders in the Engine House, a great selection for you to peruse and entertainment throughout the day too.
Now for a cool shower and a cold drink!
