I an passionate about the craft and started with courses at college – took my City & Guilds exams then teachers exams – then the business grew out of this passion. Then we decided after ten years in the shop to slow down a little – then we started working from home. Create and Craft - formerly Hochanda contacted us and we have loved every minute since. Inspiring lots more people to start their patchwork and quilting journey.

I know that it’s big enough to fit my picnic blanket with room spare for some M&S snacks and some cans of refreshment, but you can fill yours with anything.
Work files - grandchildren’s toys and coats for a trip to the park, you’d even get a football in there!!!

Wow its' been a busy couple of days, thank you to all of you that have chosen to join our 2026 Block of the Month, it makes all the time and sums worth it 😆
Just a few left, so if you're considering joining, I wouldn't leave it too long.
For those of you that have never done one, a Block of the Month is a monthly subscription, where you pay for and receive a section of the quilt, all fabric included, PRE-CUT for you, with full clear, illustrated instructions and help along the way if you need it. Postage is even included in the cost too!!
It teaches you different techniques, and by the time you have worked your way through your parcels, you will have a whole quilt complete.
