Anyone else still amidst a 30+ year obsession with Take That? I had the absolute best night watching the revamped Circus tour in Manchester ❤️ I went to see the original version back in 2009, and this will have be my 8th time seeing them live. Next time though, I might not book the nosebleeds seats because those stairs are very high. Very steep and very small 😅😅 Anyone who comes to sewing class is probably used to seeing me in my variety of Take That tour tshirts haha! I've got a new one now to add to the rotation!

Is learning to sew something you quite fancy the idea of but don't know where to start? Or did you sew a long time ago but want a boost in confidence to get you started again? Our fab beginners sewing class is just the place for you!

Join us for a full day of getting your head around using a sewing machine. We take you totally back to basics with the task of threading up the machine, winding and loading a bobbin. Moving on to actually sewing on a bit of fabric to get used to the back tack reversing stitch, and how fast you can make the foot pedal go.

Have a bash at sewing a seam and a hem and then move on to making an envelope cushion cover to put your new skills into practice.

There will be the opportunity to make a start on a second project, with the choice of a tote bag, apron or drawstring bag.

And you don't even need to own your own sewing machine! Spare machines will be available on the day to use, so you can make sure you like it before you invest in your own machine.

This Sunday we are holding our monthly Sunday Sewcial at Broughton Village Hall. A lovely full day of uninterrupted sewing, and of course, cake! Its 10am til 4pm and £35.

Next week, our next term of our weekly Tuesday morning sewing class begins. Join us for 5 weeks of new sewing techniques and working on your own chosen sewing projects, with full tutor support. 10am til 12:30 at Grange Farm Hobbies Centre £83.
