I’ve been working on lots of new pieces lately, somethings have worked, many things haven’t. But I’m very happy with this Floral piece.

Day 16. Goals

I started the year with set goals; I wanted to start my website which I’m proud to say I have ~ check out raffysroom.com
I also wanted to take part in more markets. This was me last year at The Maker's Fair] .It was a gloriously sunny day. I’m happy to say my next market is on Saturday May 7th at with The Maker's Fair] . More details on this soon.

Day 15 - Time.
I always underestimate the time it takes to finalise my pieces. The slow nature of hand knotting and weaving, have their own rhythms ~ which I love and embrace. But, the time it takes to trim, to steam, to style, to photograph, to list, to write about. Now that it is the battle I don’t win.
(Writing this and realising that both these new pieces have yet to be added to the website 🙄)
