With our natural yoga mats, you can develop better poses than with latex/rubber mats, as they do not get sticky when you sweat meaning you have to use your muscles and balance more in some asanas.

As with other mats you can rely on too much grip to ‘stick’ yourself in a pose. It may feel different in the beginning but is beneficial long term, these mats are similar to those used by the original Yogis in India and Nepal.

Our Yoga mats are made of 100% handwoven nettle fabrics which were grown and cultivated in the Nepalese Himalayas. The Bottom layer is 100% Nettle, the middle layer is Tibetan wool and the top layer is H**p and Nettle.

The Sadhus of Nepal are wandering Holy men who often practice yoga and meditation and have renounced the worldly life.

They believe that when they die, depending on how they have lived their life, they will come back again to a higher or lower existence. They believe their soul is constantly travelling through an endless cycle of death and rebirth. Some Hindus try to free their souls and transcend from this cycle by becoming a Sadhu.

They have have chosen a life away from, or at least on the edges of normal society to focus on their own spiritual practice. They take vows of poverty and celibacy and depend on the charity of others for their food. They are believed to be the holiest beings in Hinduism.

We are happy to announce our collaboration with to make our new belts.

The strap is made of wild h**p and nettle fabrics which were handwoven using traditional methods in Nepal.

The buckle is made walnut in Slovenia using offcuts from the furniture industry so no trees were chopped to make it 🌳
