It’s heavy and beautifully constructed and retains remnants of the original green silk upholstery to the back and the straw and horsehair stuffing to the seat. It would have been a magnificent piece in its day and has the potential to be so again. It would be wonderful project for a keen upholsterer

Another gorgeous vintage French folding garden table in a beautiful turquoise blue. This one is square and a great size measuring 90cm x 90cm x70cm high.
The great thing with folding garden furniture is it can easily be stowed away in a garage or shed for the winter.

There are superficial rust patches but it all adds to the patina. More images in our stories or dm for more info 🩵
