we have for sale one of the highly sought after Maharishi x Andy Warhol collaboration Banana Rugs that recreates Warhol’s iconic 1966 Banana graphic. Hand-tufted in wool, the rug perfectly captures the pop art imagery originally made famous as the debut album cover for The Velvet Underground & Nico.

The latest in a series of the gold chain artworks by the fabulous Brighton based artist Bop Pompinara
Just up the road there are protests and counter protests. I can hear them from here but the police have set up a cordon around the Station and aren’t allowing it to spread into the Laines.
Lots of shouting and chanting but no major trouble so far I believe so thats a relief
Whatever you are up to this weekend I hope you have fun, natural fun 🤩

A couple of lovely new arrivals in the shop today

A Hollywood Regency lucite and pink mirror tiled mirror and a chunky lucite, glass and brass console table, both c1970. They look fantastic together but are available separately.

Dimensions as follows

Mirror 93cm in diameter 7cm deep
Console table 140cm long x 40cm deep x 71cm high

Attractive and luxurious pair of shagreen table lamps c1970s with dark bronze coloured raw silk shades. These are super quality, they were originally commissioned for the Waldorf Hotel. The tops of the bases are chromed and the chrome is slightly pitted in places but it doesn’t detract from the overall affect

This is an absolutely beautiful example. Its very heavy and rock solid
The polished fruitwood frame is satin smooth to the touch and it has been recently reupholstered in a good quality orange velvet. I’m kind of sad to be parting with it but unfortunately I only have room for one sofa

Enchanting and decorative original children’s fairground carousel horse c1950s
He is in absolutely beautiful vintage condition with just a few light scratches and no damage to speak of. The colours are still bright and vivid. He would be a wonderful feature wherever you put him and if looked after will only increase in value.
